The Creative steps aimed to enhance the Palestinian entrepreneurial culture and promote the create economy as a leverage for Palestinian economic development. This program developed the capacity of Leaders Organization by providing training programs in the field of entrepreneurship, which is making them able to address and provide solutions for entrepreneurs through different projects and activities. It also helped aspiring entrepreneurs and early stage startups to overcome the constraints by them by providing targeted interventions that directly reflected the needs of businesses and startups in the creative economy. Finally, through a targeted advocacy campaign, Leaders Organization helped entrepreneurs voice their issues to policy-makers and key influencers in order to change or develop laws and regulations for the benefit of startups and entrepreneurs.
In addition to that Leaders created the first internship program for tech startups in Palestine, eighteen recent graduates had the unique opportunity to intern full-time job with a startup. The startups were chosen from companies hosted at Leaders’ eZone (Palestine’s new tech hub) and the FastForward accelerator, where they obtained valuable work experience and were exposed to the world of entrepreneurship. At the same time, companies benefited from subsidized entry-level employees.
