FastForward is Palestine’s first startup accelerator. Since its establishment in 2013, FastForward has supported twelve companies to grow from idea to business. Our FastForward Accelerator provides motivated start-ups with seed funding of $20,000, along with office space and technology, access to highly experienced mentors, one-on-one sessions with experts from a multitude of professional sectors and relevant training courses, over a period of four months.
What is FastForward Accelerator?

We highly recommend that you speak English proficiently given that all activities and parts of the program will be in that language.
We don’t require a completed business plan for the application, but a complete summary of it with as many details as possible must be written in the application.

At least one team member must be of Palestinian origins, however Palestinian identification documents are not required, as many Palestinian people do not possess Palestinian Identification.
The program offers a $20,000 investment for each team in addition to a set of services that include mentoring, coaching, hosting, training and access to a wide range of additional support services.
Our main mission is to expand the tech startup industry in Palestine by helping Palestinian entrepreneurs enter the marketplace by accelerating the process which will increase employment and economic growth in the long run; In return we will take 10% equity of the company.

No. Applications can be sent from anywhere in the world via our website and we only receive completed application forms, which must be written in English.
The judges of the applications are professionals from the business field with years of experience who will fairly and equally review each application. Most judges are professionals with an active role in the Palestinian economy.
If you are accepted as a participant, you will receive a letter from FastForward letting you know the next steps. If your application was reviewed by our board of judges but wasn’t selected, you’ll receive a letter from FastForward letting you know that your application has been denied.
No feedback is currently given to denied applicants.
FastForward managers and judges will have access to applications to verify eligibility. All documents are kept completely confidential.
No, all the results and ratings of the judges and the subcommittee are confidential.
Although applicants who have already participated in the FastForward program before are not preferred, their applications will still be reviewed.
We welcome applications from Gaza, however, we require them be able to stay four months in Ramallah and startups should coordinate permits on their own.
