Career Counseling Curricula Development/ Adaptation Project

Improving academic performance and goals

As part of our Economic Empowerment Program, this project aims to develop and incorporate career guidance into the formal high-school curriculum to assist students in making advised choices regarding future academic plans and career options.

This critically important element is lacking in the existing educational system and the project will develop a career guidance curriculum and manuals for grades eight, nine and ten.

This project is designed to capitalize on a number of existing experiences piloted in Palestine and Jordan and should impact on the quality of education and academic outcomes for Palestinian students.

The project is funded by Save the Children and is expected to be finalized by the end of September, 2011.
