Description
In the framework of theEuroMed Youth Exchange programme, "Active Citizenship for Peace" is an international Youth Exchange for intercultural dialogue, aimed at promoting understanding among youths from Palestine, inside the Green Line, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
During an eight day meeting in East Jerusalem, youth participants have been learning from each others experiences and challenges. The meeting allowed for an intercultural learning of issues facing youths and methods of activism by youths a cross the Euro-Med region. The main themes that participants discussed were various and aimed at clarifying issues considered as hot issues such as youth and ethnic-religious conflicts and economic and social inclusion.
