Economic Empowerment Program

The Partnership for Advocacy, Technology, and Entrepreneurship “PATENT” is an EU co-funded project under the economic empowerment programme at Leaders Organization designed in partnership between the Galilee Society, an NGO that runs a funded research and development centre. The project will capitalise on the potential of research and development activities as a driver for economic development, building on the experience of researchers from both sides of the green line through promoting collaboration on research and development projects in the fields of health, environment, water, energy, biotechnology and food production. The project will stimulate cross community learning between both communities.

Young Women Leaders is a project carried out by Leaders Organization and funded by Henirich Boll Foundation. The project aimed at building the capacity of a group of young female graduates and undergraduates, and help them master new skills to better challenge the reality and play a leading role in the community. The project allowed every participant to be engaged in a job shadowing experience where they were expected to accompany one of the women in leading positions in the political, social or economic fields for a period of two weeks. Such an experience was great value to the participants as they were allowed the opportunity to gain leadership techniques.
