Within the frame work of the project “Lawyers for Citizens’ Rights”, twenty-five lawyers from all regions of the West Bank were targeted through an integrated training program in order to enhance their skills in leadership and the defense of citizens’ rights.

The program consisted of training in group work, building effective communication skills, leadership qualities, active citizenship, as well as professional legal writing skills. As a partner with Leaders Organization on the Project, the Palestinian Bar Association also targeted the participants with a legal training program, whereby they were trained on the general framework of human rights, citizens’ rights in the Palestinian Basic Law and Legislative Acts, in addition to the Palestinian Judicial System.
