Members of the "Lawyers for Citizens’ Rights Monitoring Board" held a meeting at the headquarters of the Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development in Tulkarem, whereby they coordinated for the addition of female and male Lawyers from the youth sector and from the Northern Provinces of the West Bank. 

During the meeting, the Organizations Coordinator in Tulkarem, Nadia Katanah welcomed the participating lawyers, confirming her Organization’s preparedness to network with different active groups and organizations in the area of human rights.

Hussam Hattab, the spokesperson on behalf of the group of Lawyers, spoke of the groups’ commitment to elevate Palestinian citizens’ rights by creating memorandums of understanding with different human rights organizations.

The group had previously selected new participants from the southern and central provinces of the West Bank in a similar meeting held at the Leaders Organization headquarters in Ramallah.

The group ‘Lawyers for Citizens Rights’ came together last year in coordination between Leaders Organization and the Palestinian Bar Association, with the aim of elevating the rights of Palestinian citizens.
