Board Members of the "Lawyers for Citizens’ Rights" Project held a workshop on the Right to Education targeting the Law students at the Arab American University in Jenin.

Lawyers Muhannad Hariri and Amin Abu Al-Rub who are members of the Citizens’ Rights Monitoring Board, conducted a detailed presentation on the status of the right to education in the Palestinian territories. Both participants addressed the right to education from the legal aspect by presenting the international standards and instruments that deal with the right to education. Additionally, the board members presented the enforced Palestinian legal texts related to the right to education. In this vein, the Palestinian texts were addressed and discussed in details and compared with the international standards. Other issues discussed during the workshop included the challenges and problems facing the enforcement of the right to education in Palestine.
