Leaders Organization has convened a training course on designing robotic projects, with the purpose of creating professional leaders in the Palestinian community who possess necessary skills and sufficient knowledge. This initiative to hold such a training course was proposed by a number of volunteers working for Leaders Organization who have recognized the critical need to conduct such specialized trainings; and thus have arranged for this course with the cooperation of Leaders.
This 72-hour training will continue for a period of two months and will target a group of 15 female and male mechanical and electrical engineering students. It is designed to train the youth on building a robotic project with the usage of local efficiencies at a low cost, in addition to promoting scientific knowledge and skills needed to simplify ideas for the purpose of utilizing available material rather than relying on factories. The training course is under the auspices of Rami Badareen, the engineer who won the first award of the Robocon Contest 2007 at Egypt level and the fourth award on the level of Asia by the Asia Broadcasting Union.
Participants have expressed their appreciation towards Leaders Organization for allowing them the opportunity to develop their professional skills in areas of their specialization, particularly because many are dissatisfied from the fact that few organizations only engage in developing youth's initiatives and provide them with necessary resources and facilities.
Participants of the training course will organize a graduation project whereby they will make use of their earned skills. Leaders Organization will circulate certificates to the participants who meet the graduation requirements based on the trainer's recommendations. |
